Welcome to How to Activate a Verizon Phone!

Our Goal here is to help you better understand the activation process of your new Verizon phone. We all know how challenging it can be to receive your new phone and have no idea how to set it up. It’s also important to note that Verizon Wireless now charges a $30 fee to activate your new Verizon phone if you have signed a two year agreement with them. How much more of our money do they actually need? Verizon claims that this money will help to continue to provide the level of service that their customers have tome to expect from them. This would include workshops, educational tools, and the best in customer support. If you haven’t seen Verizon’s profits lately, they are certainly not hurting for money.

Our goal here is to keep you updated on all things relating to Verizon  phone activation. We also hope to keep you informed on Verizon wireless news, policy changes, or other items that might affect you as a Verizon Wireless customer.

I have always found it much easier to call and order my phone or upgrade my plan. There are many reasons why I like this option best. The customer service agents are very friendly and helpful and don’t tend to push additional services on you for purchase. I am not sure how they are paid, but it seems much easier than walking in a store and talking to a sales rep that seem to be all about pushing the latest technologies and product offerings. I experienced this one time at Verizon and have not been back in a store since. Also, if you place your order over the phone, they will usually automatically deduct the rebate and you don’t have to mail it in to get your $50 back. I hate mailing in rebates so this is a huge plus for a lazy person like me.

I really hope some of the tips you find on this site will be helpful.

Thanks for stopping by!
